Eu quero agradecer à família do futebol pelas mensagens e desejar aos meus colegas o melhor durante a Copa do Mundo. Estou ansioso para encontrá-los no futuro. Quero agradecer à FIFA e à CAF (Confedederação Africana de Futebol) por todo o suporte e prometo continuar evoluindo meu nível e concentrar no futuro.”

What an absolute disgrace. A FIFA-certified referee being denied entry to the United States purely because he is Somali.
The World Cup is meant to bring people together. This is racism, plain and simple. Shameful.

Ian Wright is an absolute hero for saying how we all feel about this World Cup…
“I've just read that the Somalian referee has been denied entry. Every few hours it's another story, another story about fans denied, players denied, officials denied, journalists denied, now refs," Wright said.
"You know something I'm laughing but it's not funny, it's actually not funny and something has to be said.
"The expensive tickets, the most expensive tickets ever, expensive accommodation, transport through the roof. It has to be said.
"Is this how the hosts behave really for the greatest game, the greatest tournament in the world, is this how the hosts behave?
"Are we not hearing more? Are we seeing how Qatar got dragged, are we not hearing more? Is this the spirit of football, really?
"You know who I feel for? I feel for the American fans who are desperate for this, American soccer fans who are desperate for this, how embarrassed they must be. How embarrassing for them this must be.
"This is the World Cup, this is a World Cup of chaos. Whoever wins this World Cup is going to have to go through some serious chaos to get this done.
"I hope we can do it, but something has to be said now. This is the World Cup."
I'm in! I like & respect @Keir_Starmer & am in awe of his formidable integrity/strength/resilience in the face of monstrous obstacles. His determination to not be deterred from doing his job excellently at home & internationally is outstanding. #starmermuststay#TenYearKeir

FAMILY FEARS FOR VULNERABLE BRITISH WOMAN LUCY STEMP WHO VANISHED IN FRANCE AFTER MUSIC FESTIVAL TRIP
Lucy Stemp from Tonbridge in Kent has not been heard from for over a week after travelling to Brest France for a music festival.
She was last spotted in the Bercy neighbourhood of Paris on May 30 2026.
Her stepdad Sean described her as very vulnerable and the family have reported her missing saying she has no means to return home.
The British Embassy French police and Interpol are now involved in the search with public appeals for information on her whereabouts.
The Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office confirmed it is supporting the family and in contact with local authorities.
My nieces’ beloved cat Leonard has gone missing in Burwash, East Sussex.
It’s been 4 days and he has a medical condition. I’ll offer a £1000 reward to anyone who finds him.
‼️ An urgent message to our French Pink Ladies @CordierAlice2 one of our girls is missing in Paris. Lucy Stemp - zero contact in over a week and her family are desperate. She also has a little girl who needs her Mummy home. Please share with all your followers. ‼️ Merci 🙏🏻 @pinkladies_uk 🩷
Quite simply, it’s calmer with Starmer.
We don’t need upheaval.
No, we need to let him carry on doing a very good job as the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland.
@UKLabour#StickWithStarmer
Enough is enough.
At what point do we stop pretending this is normal?
At what point do we stop allowing @realDonaldTrump to insult women, berate women, threaten women, degrade women, and then hide behind power like he is untouchable?
He has been doing this his entire life.
In business.
In politics.
In the courts.
In the Epstein circle.
And now, as president of the United States, he uses the most powerful platform in the world to attack women who speak out, women who stand up, women who dare to tell the truth.
Look at what he is doing to E. Jean Carroll. A jury found him liable for sexually abusing and defaming her — and instead of accountability, he keeps attacking. He keeps trying to intimidate. He keeps using power as a weapon.
And that is exactly the point.
This is not just about insults. This is about control.
He takes away women’s rights.
He attacks women’s credibility.
He covers up the Epstein files.
He protects the powerful men while attacking the women who survived them.
He wants women silent. He wants survivors scared. He wants the country numb.
I’m asking a simple question:
When is enough finally enough?
When do we stand together and say no more?
No more letting the media normalize it.
No more letting politicians excuse it.
No more letting powerful men abuse women and then call themselves victims.
No more silence.
I am calling on this community — women, men, survivors, parents, citizens, everyone with a conscience — to stand together as one voice.
Protect women.
Believe survivors.
Demand the Epstein files.
Hold Trump accountable.
And stop supporting any media outlet, politician, or platform that continues to sanitize, excuse, or cover for this madness.
Because this is not politics anymore.
This is about basic decency.
This is about right and wrong.
This is about whether we are still willing to stand up for the women of this country against a man who has spent his life degrading them.
Enough is enough.
It is time to stand up.
It is time to speak out.
It is time to fight back together.
It’s almost a week since I left hospital after becoming unwell. I’m on the road to recovery now, however, there is one thing I’ll never forget or forgive.
My bag was stolen from a ward while I was incapacitated and the staff were likely busy trying to help me. (I have no memory of that time.) Whoever stole that bag, I have no words for you, but I do have a picture of you when you tried to open the phone.
I know it’s a long shot but has anyone in the Carmarthen area come across a bag like this? I suspect my phone and purse was swiped and the bag discarded sometime between the 30th and 31st of May. I had other sentimental stuff in that bag that has no value to anyone but me.
If by chance anyone has spotted it, please DM me.
Thank you.
Trump completely lost it on Kristen Welker.
He said she was crooked, stupid and walked out of the interview!
I stand with Kristen Welker and all of the journalists Trump has attacked over the years.
Who is with me? ✋
Can any of you lovely people who are in the Cornwall area please look out for this little dog. My friends are on holiday and he's run off
Please retweet and see if we can get him home
Dear the BBC Politics.
I think I can safely speak for approx 89.43% of the UK population when I tell you that Zia Yusuf is not wanted on our TV screens. Again.
He's an unelected party donor using up a seat that could be offered to a credible alternative.
This is Lucy Stemp from Tonbridge in Kent. She is missing in Paris. No one has heard from her in a week. Her family are desperate to locate her. The police and interpol are involved. Please share. @pinkladies_uk
