Our Reception class had an amazing time creating their very own superhero capes, with wonderful support from the staff and children at Scissett & Kirkburton Middle School. The creativity on display was fantastic, and the collaboration made it even more special.

Year 5 have had a fantastic afternoon making their own bolognese with Sara in our school kitchen. Each group adapted an existing recipe, and all worked as a team, taking turns to add ingredients.Β When they weren't cooking, they were designing their own bolognese packaging! π

Fabulous first day at Robinwood! Caving, Archery, Crate Challenge and now dinner! So much teamwork going on and lots of encouragement! Together we succeed!
As part of our fabulous Fridays, YR3 like to share and celebrate their achievements and their out of school interests. Margo and Connie made puppets, a background for their performance and produced their own script for a puppet show which they entertained the class with.
Our school choir is back, with rehearsals starting w/c 18th May during school time.
Theyβll be working towards a showβstopping performance at the Shelley Gala on 12th July.

Weβre excited to share that our Reception pupils are taking part in a wonderful art competition designed to inspire creativity and curiosity about the world around them! π¨π
Our young Nature Explorers will be getting creative by drawing
