@burbagea It's also worth noting that of the main protagonists (inc. Tom) she's (arguably) the most capable, but the only power move she can make is pregnant wife of the CEO. Its not only her Dad who can't hold a whole woman in his head. Especially once she's pregnant but many times before

@burbagea Also agree. Family relationships are sooooo complex. Layers and layers of good and bad over decades. Can totally cry over the good parts, cry over the bad parts and be totally ill equipped for life without them.
