The project team met sculptor Vincent Gray in his studio north of Chichester to review detailed aspects of the memorial prior to sending the planning application, @HorshamDC, including the poems.

📅 #OnThisDay 1862: Thomas Jefferson Hogg, friend & biographer of Shelley, died aged 70. They met at Oxford in 1811, were expelled for publishing The Necessity of Atheism, and remained friends despite tensions.

SMP’s @sarangipani recently read this gem in @Londonist 🖼️ — Louise Vine’s Ode to the West Wind mural on Noel St, Soho, with a blue plaque marking Shelley’s brief 1811 stay, and two more nearby murals featuring Shelley hiding in plain sight.
