@KAHALA123Y My son’s friends go out to eat and pay for their own but then that is the gift. At 16+ they rarely do gifts anymore. So odd she asked for a gift in top of going out

@BorjomiDrinker Depends where you live. My son was allowed one sibling and one friend. The 3 is them would drive to the mall or the park or go get food. They have fun. He is now 18 with full license and can take any number of passengers. They should learn for when mom & dad can’t drive them

@StephenFleming Driving is life skill. My son got his license the first day he could. His friends and their parents are scared. I am now teaching his friends which makes me wonder if it’s more the parents saying no

@gotrice2024 Same happened with an oven I got from Costco. Luckily most of the dents are hidden behind the kitchen cabinets. I do have to make sure the door is pushed closed tightly but knowing things are built to break in a couple years anyway I took the discount
