Hi, I'm Shellie.

Once an engineer, always a problem solver. I started @ChristmasLightSource to stay home with my boys and keep building businesses. Turns out, my greatest professional joy is… spreading joy. (And couldn’t we all use a little more of that?)
I even ran for Congress—because out of all the things I can do, public service felt like the best way to leave the world better for my sons.

These days, I’m focusing on my community, lighting up homes across the country, and inspiring others to build boldly. I believe in good ideas, thoughtful conversations, and the power of showing up.

Another unbelievable indictment of Canada's assisted suicide policies. Is this how Canada is addressing underfunded hospice care, or saving money after a cancer diagnosis? Who could want this kind of socialized medicine?

It's crazy. Who negotiated this deal? Why are private equity firms building our tollroads? Shouldn't this be done by US Construction firms? (preferably Texas-based for Texas) Is this another thing that was supposed to be good for us? Not so much.

The tolls are run on dynamic pricing. The tolls adjust every 5 minutes based on real-time traffic and congestion data

Private equity firms got $490 million from taxpayers to build these toll lanes and the whole project cost about $2.6 billion

If taxpayers are going to have to pay to drive on toll roads they should not be charged a single cent for their construction

I hope this grandfather camping with his grandson makes a full recovery. So shocking and sad to see what happened.

An agitated bull bison barrels through a Yellowstone campground and sends a visitor flipping through the air in a terrifying attack caught on camera.

Witnesses say the man and his grandson were keeping their distance when the animal suddenly targeted them after charging a group of children just moments before.

Bystanders ran toward the bison to distract it after the man hit the ground, fearing the animal would attack again as emergency crews rushed to the scene.

The victim reportedly suffered serious injuries, with the man's grandson saying he is "not out of the woods yet.

@FoxNews I hope the Grandfather recovers well. Observing with binoculars. Moving out of view when the bison started moving their way. All good moves. Looks like the bison was attracted to the truck that went by and just kept running. Never would have expected that. Very shocking and sad.

@FarmGirlCarrie So true. Handy Husband means "has common sense". Other girls were looking for stockbrokers and lawyers. I married a man who could rebuild a carburetor blindfolded. That plus a tech job and a sense of humor was a winning combination. 31+ years together as a team making $ together.
