We, alongside @MyelomaUK , @AnthonyNolan and @BritSocHaem, are funding research into vaccine effectiveness which we hope will provide stronger conclusions about how people with blood cancer respond to the vaccines. (5/6)
The study states that antibody levels are significantly reduced in people who are immunosuppressed following vaccination compared to other risk groups.
It concludes that further research is needed in the immunosuppressed group to understand how the vaccines work for them. (4/6)
