"I would rather go to church with messed up people who are passionately pursuing God than religious people who dislike messed up people." (paraphrase of several AW Tozer thoughts) #tozer

“The greatest single cause of atheism in the world today is Christians: who acknowledge Jesus with their lips, walk out the (church) door, and deny Him by their lifestyle. That is what an unbelieving world simply finds unbelievable.”- Brennan Manning
Keep praying, sweet parents. Because the prayers we pray for our kids never die. They linger. They walk with our kids throughout their life. And they’re heard by the Creator of the universe. Isn’t that a comforting thought?

Your Lord never looks on you with disgust, no matter how much you struggle, because he looks on you through the lens of the perfect righteousness of Jesus.
Do the right thing even if it’s late. It’s not too late. Do the right thing even if it’ll be a mess. Do the right thing even if you’ll lose the approval of those you think you need. This is integrity: doing the right thing whatever the even ifs. God WILL handle the consequences.

I know how hard it can be to wait on God when you want to move forward and you’re seeking His guidance.
But while you wait on His answer, don't lose confidence in His goodness. Be strong. Be patient. Cling to His Word. And keep trusting in His unfailing love.
