When I was in high school, I had a lot of math homework in a range I had not learned yet. So I was forced to finish them at the cram school which I entered for the college entrance exam. What is the purpose of homework? I couldn't understand what my math teacher wanted me to do.

@Luna_in_ur_area Perhaps, I don't realize the good points of them... But anyway, I don't like Instagram Reels and I've never watched Youtube Shorts. For me, the contents of Instagram Reels are silly because they end up saying things that are normal or biased.

@Luna_in_ur_area I don't like it because most of its contents have extreme statements or actions. Especially, I don't like clipped videos because they can be misleading.

@Mark__Yuma My favorite one is Youtube because there are a lot of contents. There are videos which are posted even 20 years before. The diversity of videos is the best compared to other medias.
I think Youtube is like a valuable video resource center.

Recently popular singers are gaining popularity not only because of their singing ability and lyrics, but also because of their looks. I feel that singers are treated like idols in Japan these days. What do you think about that? And how it affected us?

@Reika_1110 I think classical music is not best music because it makes me sleepy. To concentrate on something, I think it is better not to listen to music because it makes me to stop thinking.

@Hina00549630 I think we should be still careful because some of my friends got COVID and had serious symptoms. We still have to have COVID test kit every time and prevent the spread of infection. But I think we only have to be careful personally. We can't stop our economy any more.

@Miyo_pmm I hope that animal testing will be stopped, but the current situation is still difficult. The first thing we can do is to buy products from companies that do not test on animals. And companies need to take responsibility for animal testing.

@jinny_in_PMM I agree. Rather than building new facilities, it would be better to hold courses at community centers or libraries to get elderly people gather. In fact, such a course was held in Japan and was well received.

@NOEMI_MORAA I think there will be these kind of jobs in the future. Not every company has someone who knows AI well. However, if a company does not understand the characteristics of AI, some problems may occur, and the company may not be able to make the best use of its original strengths.

@Miyo_pmm I think all countries should abolish the death penalty because it's more important for the criminal to live and atone for his/her sins than to die. And there are also ethical problems. I think we cannot decide if someone will live or die.

On Japanese TV, we sometimes see scenes that celebrities discusse about the news each other instead of experts. How about in your country? And do you think it is meaningful to watch it?

@NOEMI_MORAA I can't trust their reports, but I can use it as reference. The reliability of it depends a lot on personal morals. However, it can be able to spread information that no one knows. I would like to recognize the value of information while being careful of the reliability of it.

@kazukione2 I watch TV to get information about an emergency, because we can have visual access to geographic information on TV. In an emergency situation, geographical information is very important for us to escape from dangerous area.

@Reika_1110 I don't mind because there are few people who just watch me on TV. If I'm asked a too personal question, I hesitate to answer. But for me it doesn't matter the question is not too personal. But I think interviewers always have to ask us if we don't mind appearing on TV or not.

@Claire_PMM I don't think so. We have freedom of expression unless we infringe on human rights of others. If someone uses ‘expression of disgust’ to discriminate or prejudice others, it infringes on human right of them. Nothing is more frightening than unrestricted freedom.

@jinny_in_PMM No, but I have an experience related to social media. One day, one of my friends asked me to tell my phone number. But, I didn't. I didn't realise at the time but, she wanted to create a new account of chatting app by using my phone number. It made me angry.

@chi_i1227 I don't think so because using a picture of my face means that showing my face all over the world. Isn't it too risky?
Of course, we all must have responsibility for our comments. But, I think it's too risky to use the picture of my face all the time.

@NOEMI_MORAA Yes. I put my iPhone in night mode when I have to do my homework. In night mode, any notifications are not displayed on the screen. When I forget doing that, I can't concentrate on my homework at all. I can't control my concentration by myself.

@Miyo_pmm I've gone to vote once because I agreed with the candidate's opinion. I read the candidates's opinions on the news paper in advance. But most of young people don't read these opinions even they're posted on the Internet. I think everyone should get more info about the candidates.
