Before the project, Elizabeth faced significant challenges in her farming endeavors, earning approximately US$20.00 per cropping cycle. She struggled with poor yields due to lack of knowledge on pollinator, soil &water conservation techniques.

Participating in the FAP project capacitated her on climate change, farming with alternative pollinators, compost making, biofertilizer making, and soil and water conservation techniques.

"For this first cropping cycle under the project, I managed to harvest watermelons, pumpkins, cucumbers &okra, earning US$167 from selling surplus. I managed to buy a goat, food and pay school fees," -Elizabeth Ncube
