I love a residential! Had the best time with my wonderful class (missed the ones who represented the class so well while we were away!) Slept well last night, solitary walk and massage this morning. Now watching Hartley play football.
A great first day with my class @CKingsleys We explored the idea of ‘An acorn in me’ linked to the E (Environment) in R.E.S.P.E.C.T.and the power in ourselves. The day got even better when a dozen red roses were delivered. A pretty perfect day.
‘I’ve always loved the first day of school better than the last day of school. Firsts are best because they are beginnings.’ Jenny Han - Another first day of the school year, what amazing things will this year bring? What will make me smile? What will make me laugh?#possibilities
Enjoying the final few days before the beginning of term with a day at the cricket. Watching @hantscricket in the semi-final of the Royal London Cup @TheAgeasBowl
Thank you for all the generous gifts from the most amazing class @CKingsleys to the Year 4 team including Mrs Shelton. It has been a pleasure teaching this group of positive active learners. We wish you all a wonderful summer break.
A sneak preview of gorgeous natural art Matisse did today. They used an outline of the queens head and filled it with our natural treasure collected at Wisley yesterday! Hopefully the art work will last until Friday afternoon! Talented pupils.
World Book Day was a great success at CKS. The children and staff looked amazing with so many different books represented. The birthday girl was the ‘Belle’ of the ball. Thank you to all the parents who helped their children be the book character of their choice.
Happy HalfTerm. The staff were pleased to see so many children on Teams today. Thanks to the parents for working with us. We hope you are safe. Fingers crossed the winds ease soon, those without power will be reconnected and everyone has their own garden furniture in the morning.
