So the all powerful HMRC can help themselves to money they decide you owe.

I am in awe of your self-sacrifice. To screw up the steel industry (plus just about every other heavy industry we once had) with your inane and expensive pursuit of net zero (in cahoots with every other mainstream party) then give up a whole Saturday afternoon to try to fix steel (which you haven’t) really is beyond the call of duty.
