@MattTakeThree@jimloveswhisky Remember when Performance cars used to be purposefully but not in you face like the current crop?
E39 M5, this, RS6, C43 etc.
@MattTakeThree Same.
Had one once follow me on Boxing Day all the way from my mums house to my own in Gainsborough. He breathalysed me, and then asked me why im driving around so early in the morning.
It was 9am.
@MattTakeThree Very, although ive no idea why.
He seemed to have no knowledge of the show even happening. Despite it being one of the UKs biggest events and its held on his doorstep.
He was just a jobsworth.
@MattTakeThree He asked me what I was doing. Mentioned that I was attending FOS. He then berated me saying that my car wasnt very nice, who would want to see that.
I was fucked off, but had to maintain the peace.
@MattTakeThree I used to sleep in the car in a layby just outside of Chichester. Until I was rudely awoken by the police in the small hours accusing me of taking drugs.
@TBrit90 And they'll utilise the remaining tail fitted 23's more to make up the shortfall.
Which means rushed maintenance periods, and less downtime for the ships companies, with leave periods potentially curtailed as a result.
And they wonder why they have a retention problem.
@joncoupland With people questioning whether hes actually disabled.
Theres a lot of jealousy going around. I think they expect them to only have a car on Mobility.
DISABLED PEOPLE CAN BE SUCCESSFUL TOO.
@joncoupland In Gainsborough, one of the successful local businessman has a new RR Phantom. Hes also disabled and therefore parks in the bays hes entitled to park in.
His car is ALWAYS on the local Facebook parking pages, with people seething that somebody disabled is better off than them.
