@taxidermyfuckr I'm against the idea of separating domestic animals into animals who just live in human care and "pet" animals who are granted some especially sacred social status. It only seems like an excuse to mistreat the former.
Ns to OP but is a great example of why some trans men dislike the term tboy: because some people hear tboy and their first thought is lesbian, for some reason. Is your first thought gay or fag when you hear tgirl? I’d hope not.
@NeocatEdition I know they're not genuinely mistaking these two people. I just find the joke antisemitic. While being aware that it's a joke. It doesn't need to be a genuine statement to end up antisemitic.
apparentl, unpopular opinion: yall never make me believe that a kind of "reverse enbyphobia" that non-binary ppl supposedly inflict on "binary" trans ppl exists or at the very least yall need more than vague claims like "nb ppl are being weird about trans ppl" to prove that 1/
I've also already seen similar jokes about Eisenstein (the film director). At this point you're just making CSA allegations towards Jewish people for having typical European Jewish names. I know y'all would not be going after Jensens and Jacksons if the trafficker was Johnson.
In moments like these it's important to remember that these people aren't hypocrites - their views aren't internally inconsistent. They believe their special status and mission entitles them to privileges others aren't meant to have. "Don't kill babies" never was a general order.
“The most racist and homophobic people alive are actually GAY” schtick is not only untrue, but it obscures the role of straight people in structural homophobia
Low-key disgusted by how some ppl talk about sexual dimorphism and certain features. You guys do understand that historically, the foundation for "humans are extremely rigdly sexually dimorphic" was "anglo whites are the most dimorphic by far and this is a sign of civilization"
