From the closing ceremony at last week's Assembly of First Nations Annual General Assembly 2026 (July 14-16, in Ottawa).
Recap:
Hundreds of First Nations chiefs gathered for the AFN’s key summer meeting. National Chief Cindy Woodhouse Nepinak opened with strong calls to protect treaty rights.
The Chiefs unanimously opposed federal fast-track plans for major projects (Building Canada Act), warning they could weaken environmental protections and sidestep Indigenous consent. “Rights have no deadline.”
They passed an emergency resolution on Alberta separatism. No province can alter or extinguish treaty rights. First Nations are literally “defending the Crown”. The King is laughing his ass off.
Other business included discussions on Bill C-37 (Clean Water Act), child welfare, housing gaps, mental health, and education funding. The usual crap.
The focus remained clear. Uphold the honour of the Crown, implement UNDRIP, and ensure First Nations continue to exercise veto powers on all decisions, and every lever of government in this country.
@rupasubramanya Elbows up cult, now they know what the WEF Liberals are all about after years of massive fires. They do nothing but send billions to other countries for war, gender equality climate change. Liberals cry and blame, Carney invests in submarines, not fire bombers. Cry a river!
@OJoelsen Arsonists are changing the climate every summer, just in Canada where carbon death tax pays them by the corrupt Liberal WEF gov. No forest management needed according to you lying climate net zeros. US isn't burning up like Canada. I wonder why?
@ABDanielleSmith Andrew Knack is a disgusting radical leftie who wants Edmonton to be a WEF UN smart city. He follows the radical NDP teacher aid Mikaylaresist who used fowl attacks o you Premier Smith in front of families with CHILDREN. She should be fired from teaching period! Insane Woke cult

As a Metis, and a descendant of those who fought at Red River with Louis Riel, once again we support the endeavor to be independent. Alberta is leading the way for a better future for all of us who share this beautiful land. #AlbertaIndependance
@ryangerritsen I thought it's all Alberta's fault for these fires, geesh. Insane asylum climate change net zeros. Not one word from Carney crisis about fire bombers, crazy Karen. Liberal Canada doesn't have enough as they send billions to other countries, Ukraine war, FN Chiefs, DEI programs
@MclernonDylan@PaulCha94025901@ABDanielleSmith My grandfather was from the US, my Kookum from Manitoba. Farmed, homestead in Alberta early 1900s, worked hard to build this great Alberta. And I will not let any corrupt WEF polititian destroy it like the Liberal NDP net zero climate change extremists are trying to do. Traitors
In the last couple days, I have seen two independence supporters being attacked by the left: @JeffreyRWRath and @albertaradios.
Rath is attacked relentlessly for spearheading Alberta Independence with irrefutable ideas that will move us forward to a prosperous future.
Alberta Radios, is attacked for being Indigenous and daring to think critically and supporting Alberta Independence.
Alberta Radios is the first Indigenous TPA, he has travelled to engage the Indigenous community to support Alberta Independence.
@albertaradios is currently fundraising for the next phase in his campaign. He needs 2k, if 200 people send 10 bucks each, he will meet his mark. Donations can be transferred to [email protected].
By law, only Alberta residents may donate.
I am grateful these two men have broad shoulders to endure the attacks and libel used against them to smear and discredit them and thus the Alberta Independence movement.
