We are asking residents there to check their vehicles to see if anything has been taken.
The smoke in the air today is from the wildfires in northern Minnesota. We've been receiving many calls to our dispatch center asking about the smoke. There are no fires locally. These calls are taking away from the real emergencies our dispatchers need to address.
That tall man in the middle of the back row (blue shirt, red tie) is our very own Deputy Michael Sieg. Congratulations Deputy Sieg on earning a prestigious award.
Congrats to some outstanding law enforcers who received the FBI Director's Award today - recognized for making extraordinary contributions to their communities and to the accomplishment of the FBI mission. And they enjoyed learning more about some of what we do, too!
