Shereen Marwan, a 27-year-old married mother of three, lives in a small tent in Gaza with her children, aged 6, 4, and 13 months. Her youngest child has a chest wall deformity, requiring regular medication costing $200–$300 monthly, along with diapers and baby formula. Her 4-year-old, affected by the trauma of ongoing genocide, struggles with delayed speech. Shereen, a university graduate, and her family have been displaced 11 times, losing their home to the war. Her parents and five siblings—aged 3 to 19—reside in another nearby tent. She also lost one brother due to the genocide. The family faces severe hardships, including limited access to food, water, and safety, as they navigate the challenges of their circumstances.
