In my city, we stopped at a fruit cart vendor and talked to him. He was set up in a corner in Riverside California. He said the workers gather in downtown Los Angeles and they get a cart assigned to them and then they get ina. Truck and are dropped off on a street corner somewhere. In this case, it’s 60 miles from downtown Los Angeles and he had to work the entire day until they come pick him up and he had to give his earnings to the man who picked them up. Totally organized. People I know think they’re supporting a “business owner” and they’re most often not.

@mcsquared34 What’s criminal is that the property tax resets at the new price with zero additional work or effort from the government!!!!! Insurance goes up based on purchase price too…. Owners have to pass the costs on.
