I certainly don't agree with all of his decisions, but this one has to be one of the worst. Permanent Standard time is the only logical option. I feel for the super early shift people... half their workday will be in darkness during the winter. My husband gets up at 4am, at work by 5am, and on his way home at 1pm.
@Timcast No shame in adding pure HWC to coffee. It's the garbage froo-froo creamers and syrups that is gay AF. We put a Tbsp organic HWC, 6-10 drops of liquid stevia, a scoop of collagen powder, and half a packet of chocolate salt LMNT electrolytes in our coffee every morning. Delicious.
@tracybeanz Yeah, I feel it. My progesterone levels are plummeting, estrogen high... not great things as a result. It sucks. FML. And I'm expected to keep functioning as usual. That really sucks.
@iFightForKids@GregoryKBovino It's truly shocking to me how many of these shitbags you nab in an area... in just one day. Hate to say it, but the prevalence of this behavior has me giving pretty much all men the side eye these days. Is it my neighbor, coworker, health worker, law enforcement??? Holy hell.
Define "afford". If you mean taking out an insane car loan to the detriment of other life expenses, yeah, you're absolutely right. Mortgage, utilities, groceries... for your average middle class citizen, doesn't leave a whole lot left over for absurd rigs. We have 5 cars, all paid off... no debt but the home loan. Intend to keep it that way. But again, as a pleb, who am I to have an opinion. xD
@TheLucyShow1 Yikes. For those who don't understand this, that's a Subaru with all-wheel drive... they are not meant to be towed this way. Should be on a flatbed trailer, or a tow dolly that prevents tires contacting the ground while in motion.
Running a business is expensive. There were multiple workers, plus cleaning supplies and expertise. Same reason contractors ask for so much... overhead is insane. As long as they do a good job, and you get what was promised, sure thing. Ask what you think it's worth, if you don't get business, maybe you're asking too much. Free market capitalism.
Very sad to see how fragmented the conservative movement is these days... you, and a handful of others, are directly to blame. It's a shame. Almost as if you're grifting. I do not agree with some of the decisions being made by the current administration, but I'm also aware that the alternative would be unbearable.
If we lose the midterms because of you assholes, you'll have blood on your hands. It's fucking pathetic.
@IfindRetards Toyota Prius. Hands down. I'll admit, I drive a Subaru Crosstrek (and totally get the stereotype), but I'll also argue that I'm the fastest Crosstrek on the road. A BMW driver in disguise, just with blinkers and without the speeding tickets.
@ThrillaRilla369 Keto. Dropped 100 lbs in a year, diet alone. Once ketone adapted, I fell into intermittent fasting naturally, which certainly sped things along.
I worked in car sales at the time, and my company was being super aggressive about us staff getting these shots. I grew tired of it, so I quit and went to work for another dealership of the same brand... a little more of a commute, and a much smaller dealership, but eh, at least I wasn't being threatened and harassed daily to have a medical procedure performed.
Well, months later, once the hype started dying out... companies slowly stepping back from their aggressive stances, I returned to the original dealership in a different role. Much shorter commute, and not a word was said about the debacle when I returned.
Insane shit... and I'm lucky to have been in the line of work that I was... work at one dealership, you've pretty much worked at them all.
That said, I know not everyone has that type of flexibility in their work, and I'm very saddened when I hear of someone who was coerced against their will because their job was so specialized. Crimes against humanity, and I think we all want accountability from those who perpetuated it.
@elonmusk If you have to take a loan out to 72 months to widle the payments down to $500 a month, you can't afford the car. I say this as someone who sold cars for many years.
