I gotta say there are things I love about the fandom and I found some of the best friends I ever had in the SPN family but there is this toxic and vile part of this fandom I'm completely fed up with.
It's like those bullies don't even think for one second that it isn’t just a show on here...they're hurting real people, they try to destroy them, their lives their career and they don't give a single f*ck about it. Even worse...they're proud of themselves for doing so and are getting their mob to do the same. It makes me sick to my stomache to watch that and don't really being able to do anything against that hate / harassement.
Harsh as it sounds but this is not what the show should have taught us. That's not the SPN family I used to be proud of. There might be parts of the SPN family who still live that legacy of the show and accept each other and show kindness but sadly at the moment those haters are taking up space so loudly that those other parts are hard to find for me.
I somehow hope we who are still supportive to each other and to the actors of the show we love manage to get louder and spread more positivity, kindness and support as an antidote to that toxicity. As for me I will continue to do so because that's something it's worth fighting for 💙
