FOUR MONTH BABY ALLEGEDLY WAS KIDNAPPED IN PONGOLA.
A 4-month-old baby girl was allegedly kidnapped in Pongola at Ncotshane B Section on Wednesday evening.
According to reports, a woman wearing a scarf over her face arrived at the family’s home pretending to need help from the baby’s father, who is said to be a traditional healer. She claimed someone in Mqhashweni was seriously ill, and the father quickly left with her to assist.
While they were walking, the woman allegedly disappeared after stopping along the way. When the father returned home, he found the baby’s mother crying after an unknown man had reportedly entered the house, threatened her, and taken the baby.
The child is still missing, and the matter has been reported to police. Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.
