@DOOGEE_official@DOOGEE_official your open source code used in your devices isn't available, please respect the GPL license and release the open source code!
You buy a product like a tablet from @DOOGEE_official that #linux kernel under #GPL v2, you execute your right requesting the source code, this is their reply! that is clearly a valuation of the #GPL and the #opensource spirit!! #Doogee#gplviolation
@geerlingguy I got my HAREC license almost a year ago, but didn't build my raido shack yet, hopefully soon! but I am enjoying a lot your RF content :) 73, EI3JAB

@trblnyx@thepine64@AlmaLinux@rocky_linux We have something here https://t.co/Jq7f2xvOCl but still in it's way to be migrated to our build systems, feel free to test and let us know :)
@geerlingguy@RedHat The interesting part will be the sources for RHEL 8 after c8s is EOL next year, where are those sources going to be? pushed to c9s? don't think so, some of them might be back ported, but most of the code will be only behind RH walls.
And yes, my work is now published as CC BY-SA.
Meaning @redhat could rebuild it and sell it to their customers if they wanted.
And you know what? I'm okay with that.
But I'd rather you just get a free copy from me directly: https://t.co/hH6exOkQ1b
@geerlingguy At least now they are honest, I can't see how rebuilding and reusing opensource is bad for opensource, maybe bad for their business, but totally not bad for open-source and they are already dropping "support" for lots of tools including LibreOffice on RHEL https://t.co/7igDGWBbx3
Boy, I didn't wake up this morning thinking I'd go from "I hope @RedHat does better next time" to "I might have to actually stop promoting @ansible too",
but... here we are.
