Fairfield County has lost one of it's greatest!
Mike Norris is an iconic figure in our history. During his time as a Deputy, before retirement, he served in multiple roles; Sergeant, Lieutenant, Major and Chief Deputy.

"Touch a Truck" at the Wigwam in Violet Township was an opportunity for youngsters to learn about and see the vehicles used by first responders.

Kids and Cops day at OU-L was a huge success. Young folks were very eager to see and learn. Fairfield County first responders had plenty of things to show them.

The "Buck-Icon" football camp was held on Saturday at the Fairfield County Fairgrounds. County youth experienced the opportunity to be trained and mentored by Ohio State football players. It's always great to participate in events with community safety partners.

Wed. July 21, 2021, We participated in Tim Hortons “Camp Day”. Tim Hortons Foundation Camp Day is the one day each year when Tim Hortons Restaurant Owners donate 100% of their coffee sales to help send local youth to one of seven Tim Hortons Foundation Camps across North America.

Family and friends were invited to the Sheriff's Office yesterday to show support as our newest members were sworn in as Fairfield County deputies. I applaud our new deputies for their desire and calling to serve the people of Fairfield County!

Saturday, July 17, 2021, The Fairfield County Sheriff's Office co-sponsored with the Lancaster Parks and Recreation for Christmas in July at Tiki Pool. Christmas in July was organized to bring the Community and Law Enforcement closer together in a fun family event.

Today, Saturday July 17th, 2021 The Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office participated in The River Family Fun Event at Alley Park. The event brought families together to enjoy music, food, and fun.

Wednesday, July 14, 2021, Deputy Meloy, K-9 Khar and Sgt. Cassel met with students of the Goodwill Industries, Inc. - Lancaster Training Center to discuss careers in Law Enforcement.
