How to apply for the N$60,000–N$200,000 Youth Business Loan 🇳🇦
If you’re a Namibian youth (18–35) with a business idea or a small startup, here’s how to access the government’s N$257 million Youth Entrepreneurship Loan Facility:
Where to apply:
Visit your nearest Ministry of Sport, Youth and National Service office or National Youth Council (NYC) regional office. Some initiatives may also be coordinated through the Development Bank of Namibia.
Requirements:
•Namibian citizen aged 18–35
•A business plan or solid business idea
•Proof of residence & ID
•Registered or ready-to-register business
•Willingness to repay over 5–7 years
Loan range: N$60,000 – N$200,000
Repayment term: Up to 7 years
Sectors: Agriculture, services, fashion, tech, food, and more
Go prepared. Draft a simple 2–3 page business plan and ask the youth officer for the “Youth Loan Facility application form.”
