Another beautiful day in Niagara County! Walk The Falls 2023 had a great crowd and amazing views. This next event is always a hit, Niagara County Youth Bureau Kidz N Kites. Many smiling faces and kites up in the air. Fantastic things to do in our community!

I again, had the privilege of being a guest speaker at Lockport Overdose Awareness Day. This annual event continues to shed light on the struggles of addiction and also highlights the people that are ready, willing and able to help.

Throwback Thursday

1970’s Rules and Regulations book issued to all deputies. It is a whopping 56 pages in length. The accident sketches were all hand drawn back in the day. 50 years has brought a lot of changes to our office!

With the heavy rain we are seeing a handful of roads in Wilson and Somerset flooding. Highway crews are out addressing those issues. Please use caution. There are also several reports of flooded basements that the fire service is dealing with. Please check your basements.

I am not sure, but I think Deputy Pino enjoys giving Reggie the bite command when I have the sleeve on. We had a little fun with K9 Reggie during a demo this morning. He's a good boy!

Such an honor to meet and spend time with our hero veterans. This gentleman served in Korea and told me of his long recovery after an incident with a mortar round. I have nothing but respect for those that have served.
