@Sheringa

Sheringa, West Coast of Eyre Peninsula, south Australia. Rough limestone, bit of dirt, lot of history. Bits of it on here, for your interest. Book sales soon!

[Gillian Fennell @stationmum101]

Makes me proud to be South Australian.

[@Sheringa @SheringaEP]

@farmersgrowit @MattMcDonald013 Of course, why didn't I think of that! Bloody hell, where we are on the coast is completely different to 20k inland, you shouldn't have overarching rules.... I think some bugger has run out of ideas to justify his (well paid) job??! If we eliminate risk, we stop farming!

[Matt McDonald @MattMcDonald013]

Looking forward to trying to complete harvest on the coast when during November a sea breeze will give us these conditions almost every afternoon. This is what SACFS want they want us to be stopped during good harvest conditions 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

[@Sheringa @SheringaEP]

@farmersgrowit @MattMcDonald013 Things have (almost) always worked very well with the locally imposed harvest bans, where's the problem? There are those few who don't comply, but the new CFS ideas won't change that! If it's taken out of local control, or harsher conditions are out on us, there will be trouble!

[@Sheringa @SheringaEP]

Something interesting from #ourabc.!

@BarbaraPocock Well that's the crap. Ever been to Kimba and spoken to the people who actually live there? Gutted

[@Sheringa @SheringaEP]

@_SpiritGotLost And, if you were like me, you'd wait till near closing time & get 1/2 price, or free!

[@Sheringa @SheringaEP]

@Of_Bourke What a fool. Unfortunately, there are those who agree with him, as some comments show. Lucky for them they only rent a house, and never leave the city!

[@Sheringa @SheringaEP]

@stationmum101 They say "never bite the hand.... ". Well, that said, I 100% agree with you. Duplication, scoping studies, consultants, delivery systems, contracts. Sounds familiar? Try ATSIC! Set up to provide the grass roots with support & tool to do better! 🤣🤣

[Gillian Fennell @stationmum101]

I’d much prefer the $38 million be spent on tangible things like health, education & telecommunications in rural areas so we (the actual farming experts) can just get on with our jobs.

A fantastic statement from @NationalFarmers & @asfnsw supporting WA sheep producers.
