میرا بھائی یوسف بلوچ اور دیگر ساتھیوں کو پچھلے تین دن سے تونسہ پولیس نے قید کررکھا ہے آئینی لحاظ سے انہیں عدالت کے سامنے پیش کرنا تھا لیکن ابھی تک ہمیں نہ کوئی ایف آئی آر دیکھایا گیا نہ ہی خاندان کو ملنے دیا گیا۔ جب قانون والے خود قانون توڑیں گے تو انصاف کہاں ہوگی۔

A week has now passed, and my sister, Dr. Mahrang, along with her colleagues Sammi Deen Baloch, Beebo Baloch, and Bibagar Baloch, remains unlawfully and unconstitutionally imprisoned.

Dr. Mahrang’s health has been steadily deteriorating in jail. She is neither receiving medical treatment nor being allowed to meet our family doctor.

Similarly, since yesterday, Sammi Deen’s sister and mother have been continuously trying to arrange a meeting with her, but their requests have been repeatedly denied.

Bibagar Baloch, who suffers from a spinal cord injury, is incarcerated in Huda Jail, Quetta. Even at home, he required daily medical check-ups due to his condition, as he frequently suffered from severe health issues. However, he has now spent a week in jail without receiving any medical attention, nor is his family being allowed to arrange a doctor for him. We are deeply concerned for his life.

Likewise, Beebo Baloch, a close friend of my sister, Dr. Mahrang, is also imprisoned with her in Huda Jail, Quetta. Her family, too, has been denied visitation rights and is gravely worried about her well-being.

ایسے میں، بلوچ نوجوان، خواتین، بزرگ اور ہر طبقے کے افراد کے لیے اس وحشت، درندگی اور جبر کے خلاف مزاحمت ہی واحد راستہ بچا ہے

Update on Dr. Mahrang Baloch

My mother and I visited the jail to see my sister, Dr. Mahrang Baloch today. We were forced to wait for eight hours and were then only allowed to speak with her over the telephone, separated by a thick glass wall.

The jail staff is undergoing a complete overhaul, with new personnel being brought in. The jail superintendent has already been transferred, and other officials are reportedly next in line. According to the jail staff, the prison is under strict control of intelligence agencies, with surveillance cameras installed throughout. A separate room is being prepared for meetings, equipped with cameras, microphones, and other monitoring devices.

Despite the High Court’s directive allowing us to meet Mahrang, we are still being denied in-person visits. Her rights as a prisoner are being blatantly violated.

Mahrang has fallen severely ill due to food poisoning and has been sick for the past three days. Her condition worsened last night. We have repeatedly requested that jail authorities allow a doctor to examine her, but no medical specialist has been permitted to visit. Yesterday, a junior doctor conducted a brief check-up, which was entirely inadequate. Beebow informed me that Mahrang was unwell throughout the night.

We demand that an independent medical board of experienced doctors be allowed to examine her immediately. She appears extremely weak and fragile, and we strongly believe something is seriously wrong with her health.

I appeal civil society, the media, and the legal community to take immediate action, ensuring that court orders are enforced and that my sister receives the urgent medical care and justice she deserves.

Dear Civil Society Friends and Media,

I am writing with deep concern about my sister, who is under immense psychological pressure in prison. Her health has deteriorated dramatically, and she has been sick for the past three days without access to proper medical care.

Last night, she became severely unwell and experienced repeated vomiting. A doctor was finally called this morning, but the delay in medical attention is unacceptable. I fear that she is being deliberately kept in conditions that are worsening her health, and I am deeply concerned that her food may be contaminated.

This morning, I visited the jail to meet her. My sister iqra wasn’t allowed to meet her. I meet her only for a couple of minutes. She looked extremely weak, sick and fragile.

Beside that, Mahrang has repeatedly complained about surveillance cameras, the lack of proper beds, food, and the violation of her rights as a political prisoner.

Despite these hardships, she remains strong in her spirit. But she is sick and we fear for her life. Internet services were shutdown in Quetta today so that we can’t amplify her voice.

I urge you all to continue raising your voices for her and all detained Baloch prisoners.
