Let’s talk about chewing gum.
One of my teacher bug bears is this stuff stuck under school desks and walked into carpets. What’s the chances we can get shops to stop selling it to kids during the virus outbreak?

Teachers want to get back into the classroom. They’re working long hours from home under difficult circumstances with increasing demands from management and parents. Classroom life is far better.
But they don’t want to kill your kids, or themselves, to get back there.
I’m livid. Teachers are going to be vilified for not being ‘heroes’ prepared to put children in the firing line of the virus.
When children die it will be then be the teachers’ fault for failing to stay ‘alert’ for an invisible predator.

Introducing Florrie Seacole. She’s got me wrapped around her paw already.
Named in honour of all the NHS staff working so hard to keep her humans safe.

After Donald Trump suggests ‘injecting disinfectant’ to treat coronavirus, millions of furloughed workers wonder why they’re currently out of a job while the world’s biggest imbecile isn’t.
I’m deeply concerned. Will supermarket own brand disinfectants work on Covid 19 or are the less well off going to suffer yet again? Is there an environmentally friendly disinfectant I can inject into my kids?

In my union official role I’m hearing about schools setting work for year 11 to ‘up their grades’. This is not on. It’s
manipulating grades and this will not be equitable to pupils who don’t have equal access to resources or academically able patents to assist them. Stop it now
Piers Morgan - How did you vote, in June 2017, when there was a vote to increase #NHS workers pay?
Helen Whately(Care Minister) - That was game playing by the opposition.
#PiersMorgan - It's not actually a game... you voted against the pay cap been lifted..

Thank you for what you do.
My shift in the classroom is on May 18th. Until then I’m safely at home, social distancing and in awe of the health and social care workers who get up, get dressed and go out on the frontline every day.
