I appreciate Michelle Antle for co-presenting with me today at Green River Regional Educational Cooperative - GRREC Crisis Response Network. Thankful for the participants who came in during summer to learn and network. Not able to attend today - join us in July!

What a wonderful way to spend a Tuesday — co-presenting with Dr. Savannah Denning & Donovan Hatfield in Clinton County Schools. Staff at each school had the opportunity to practice 7 AI tools/platforms.

A great way to spend part of a Friday morning is with @GRRECKY’s Food Services Network. It’s been wonderful spending time during their Mental Health Moment this year. Today, we concluded this year with rock painting. So many talented Food Services Directors in our region!
The last four days, I was in Bethesda, Maryland for PREPaRE 1 and 2 back-to-back train-of-trainers. They were long days with lots of information shared and practice presentations but after completing and passing both tests, I am now a trainer for both! @nasponline
Yesterday, I finished the day at @GRRECKY presenting about grief to @FRYSCKy Region 3. We discussed psychological first aid, the SAFER-R Model, discussed activities/strategies for all types of grief - loss of a loved one, home, friendship, family dynamics, etc.
Yesterday, I was @barrenschools. I loved hearing the Seniors share their capstone project & how they have grown and future goals. So inspiring! And, my school counseling brain kicked and even got to talk to some about college/career opportunities they had not thought of yet.

I had such a great time talking with students today at Butler Co HS about careers in education and mental health (and even other careers and how to get there - yes, can’t turn off the school counselor part of my brain). Thanks to Mrs Hood (BChS FRYSC) for the invite. @GRRECKY
HUGE shoutout to our speakers today for @GRRECKY’s CCR Network virtual meeting: Tina Brogli & John Paise (both from @KyDeptofEd), Dr. Masters (Henry Co. Superintendent) & Dr. Nash (@universityofky). Loved learning more about work-base learning, pathways - Ss success, and AI.
Had an incredible time presenting #TheRegulatedClassroom to a passionate group of mental health & school counselors, teachers, OTs, & district leaders! Dove into the 4 core practices—Connectors, Activators, Settlers, and Affirmations—and had so much fun practicing them. @GRRECKY
Today, Tonya & I had the privilege to collaborate with Dr. Jones, Emilee B & other Russellville Independent Schools leaders in training all staff on Restorative Language including elements of HeartMath. I love their approach to implementing and future goals.
2 days, 3 AMAZING school/districts. Clinton Co MS for Growth vs Fixed Mindset & Mindfulness lessons in 7th grade-they did a wonderful job of working together & not giving up when challenged. We discussed famous failures, completed puzzles & played Jenga with a mindfulness twist.
Then, Allen County Primary Center hosted a Wellness Night. ❤️ the Disney theme. Decided the GRREC table would be Inside Out 2 (of course). Had so much fun creating the activities for PK-2 and grades 3-5 and buying the supplies and giveaways!
Learned so much from Dr. Feifer today @GRRECKY. Heard him over a year ago at Learning & The Brain Conf. I remember coming back asking if we could bring a national speaker to GRREC. He has been on our calendar for over a year - but the wait was worth it!

The Crisis Response Network meet where Ericka Church shared and allowed participants time to practice some strategies for helping those after a grief/loss and after a natural disaster. Then, Tonya Ballard shared information from David Kessler’s work on grief. @GRRECKY
Fantastic day @GRRECKY with the Counselor Connection Network. Huge shout out to presenters Scott Howard, Brad Stevenson, Mitzi Holland & Trey Pippin (@CPENews). Completed our time together with networking time - my favorite part!
