Last year I was determined to make a contribution to America's 250th Anniversary. This documentary, The Thread of Liberty: Keeping Our Republic, is what came of that desire. I've posted it here in its entirety, as well as at https://t.co/Dnb8CMyjQq. We have an incredible nation, the first ever rights-based government in the history of the world in which the people are sovereign. We should appreciate it and, more importantly, love it. But loving requires understanding and then restoring. There is a great deal to celebrate and there is also a great deal of work that lies before us if we're to restore the republic. One of the central questions for the future of the American Republic is do we still feel an obligation to our experiment in free government? I believe one of the places that we renew the obligation, and begin the restoration, is with a rebirth of instinctive patriotism. I sincerely hope this documentary plays a role in that rebirth. Keep America Free.
@BrandiKruse Is today your birthday too…. I am 61 today! Happy Birthday to you too. You know John Adams thought we should be celebrating today. 250 years ago he knew we were worth celebrating too ;)
Bizarrely, socialism is still popular among young people. They should listen to those who lived it!
“You don't really know you have it good until you have it bad,” says @charlesNKorea.
He escaped North Korea, twice.
He tells me his story and the importance of freedom:
“To follow socialist morality would destroy much of present humankind and impoverish much of the rest.”
Economist Friedrich Hayek pointed out that no group of planners has enough knowledge to run an economy.
@ryanmcmaken of @mises explains why Hayek’s ideas matter today:
Early weekend reading.
WA has the worst, least transparent election laws in the nation. And they're getting worse.
WA Democrats read scripted talking points about "our democracy" as they subvert our democracy.
Excerpt:
House Bill 1916 was signed by Ferguson in March and became law on June 11. Backers say it stops frivolous challenges. In practice, it raises the burden on anyone trying to flag an ineligible voter to the highest standard that exists anywhere in American law.

AWFUL: Two armed suspects robbed an 11 and 12-year-old’s lemonade stand at gunpoint in Boston, stealing about $50 the kids worked to earn. The children were back selling lemonade the very next day. 🙏🏾
When kids are robbing lemonade stands, your city has a serious problem.
I grew up hating white people, and the scary part is that millions of young Black men are being brainwashed into that exact same mindset today.
The education system feeds Black kids a steady diet of historical resentment until their undeveloped brains start picturing every single white person as the enemy.
Blaming the white man for modern community struggles is a trap that keeps people broke and angry.
Mail-in ballots are how blue states cheat and win elections @kiro77Seattle. It's been happening at least since 2004 with Gregoire v. Rossi. After three counts, Rossi, who led in the first two counts, lost the race. 129 ballots mysteriously appeared—as if by magic—to give Gregoire the win. It’s always progressives who come from behind to win elections. Have ya noticed?
@elonmusk
The SAVE America Act:
✅Requires an ID to vote
✅Proof of citizenship in order to vote
✅Prohibits mail-in ballot (with limited exceptions)
Supporting the SAVE America Act truly is a no-brainer.
Finally getting over the asthma - and here's the org chart of the Newark protests, as promised. A few are missing, particularly the Catholic NGOs. But this is the basic template for how mass protests are coordinated so quickly.
