@lowemich@WestJetNews@WestJet It's not the crew. It's also ridiculous that anyone expects them to work for free. The problem is with management, not the crew.
@StJohnsTelegram At least 4 times now I've had a doctor tell me they would refer me to a specialist. Each time they said someone would contact me about the appointment. The last time they told me that was about 6-7 years ago. I haven't heard a peep from anyone. π€·πΌββοΈ
@TedBlades None of it made healthier options cheaper, so it was just another money grab. Same as the levy a few years ago.
In so many areas, NL is behind the times. But, somehow, we can lead the way when it comes to having government hands in our pockets π€¦πΌββοΈ
And while I'll likely be blocked for calling this out (despite the fact elected officials should NOT be blocking public discourse this way), I assure you the closer we get to an election the more of a pain this issue will become until you deliver on the promises made a year ago.
@ElvisLoveless is the most disengaged minister Service NL has had in the past 13 years. Can dance around a question like someone doing a jig, and can't even be bothered to answer the questions people ask. Is this the "representation" we deserve?
@StJohnsTelegram@Pam_Frampton It's a bit foolish to not support it. You can't stop someone from opting out of life when they decide their time is up. So MAID isn't about dying or not, it's about doing it with dignity.
@JimCaseNL@TedBlades It would be a miracle bigger than the birth of Jesus if any sort of housing development were proposed in St. John's without someone whining and complaining about it. Having a home to complian from must be nice....... π
@ElvisLoveless just wondering if you're having any email trouble? I emailed you a month ago, and followed up again two weeks ago, and haven't heard anything back.
@Reardon07@VOCMNEWS You don't "get them". They decide where they want to operate. They can come here if they want to. I guess we'll see if they do now that the rules have changed to allow ride sharing.
@LukeQuinton This sign by Bowring Park sums the City's attitude up perfectly. "Attention - Operators plow snow onto walking trail beyond civic # 46". You can't make this stuff up.
@LukeQuinton Unless we get a lot of snow, then they come with a snowblower and blow it all over your house, driveway, mash up your trees and bushes, etc.
@LukeQuinton Part of it is because of the crappy way they do snow removal. If they cleared the sidewalks they'd just get filled in again when the city comes and "clears" the street. Because all they do is push it all up on the sidewalk, your driveway, your lawn, etc.
