I reframe “coming out” as “inviting in”. I feel it gives them more agency and power to those sharing their truth.
It’s huge to get to a place to share that and I feel “inviting in” makes it about the person doing the sharing, not the public thinking they have a right to know
I pray I’m never in another situation that requires my absence for me to be appreciated. I’m thankful for the relationships in my life that appreciate my presence presently
Loving yourself in a world that don’t love u back takes an incredible amount of self awareness & a bullshit detector that can see through ass backwards societal standards…
