My first Ed Sheeran concert was at Forest Hills Stadium in 2015. I went on a broken foot and it was standing room only.
Since then, I’ve been to many more shows. I’ve traveled 7 hours with a friend to see him. The only reason I wasn’t at the MetLife shows last weekend was because they were on Shabbat.
I’m so disappointed and heartbroken by what happened at these concerts.
When Ed first spoke out and said that he had not invited Israeli soldiers to his show as was reported, my reaction was, “Okay, he’s trying to avoid controversy.” It was upsetting and I didn’t like it, but I could understand that he was trying to stay out of it like most celebrities do.
But then the weekend happened.
If Macklemore had done what he did on night one and Ed’s team had made it clear that it wouldn’t be tolerated again on night two, I may have understood the ignorance. But allowing it to happen again sends a very different message.
And honestly, Ed, it’s cowardly.
If you support the statements Macklemore made, then own that position. Say it openly. At least then your Jewish fans would know where we stand with you.
Ed, I really hope you understand the betrayal and heartbreak that your Jewish fans are feeling right now. Hope this message makes it to your ipad @edsheeran.

Why do leaders of the Greens have such difficulty naming the particular demographic likely to be most ‘shaken’ and ‘affected’ by two men from their community having their throats cut on a London street?
.@zarahsultana I assume this is a different Zarah Sultana MP to the one who was recently filmed clapping along to loudspeaker chants for intifada, on a street in Surrey.

A single knock has changed thousands of families lives’ forever. Today, we remember the heroes who sacrificed their lives in order to defend our country 🥀🕯️
Watch the extended version of @andersoncooper's interview with Rachel Goldberg-Polin, an American Israeli mother whose son, Hersh, was kidnapped by Hamas on Oct. 7, 2023, and then executed.
Anne Frank was targeted and murdered solely because she was Jewish. Leaders making false equivalencies to her experience for political purposes is never acceptable. Despite tensions in Minneapolis, exploiting the Holocaust is deeply offensive, especially as antisemitism surges.
The body of the final hostage, Ran Gvili, has been recovered and returned to Israel.
843 days after the October 7 attack and abductions, there are no remaining Israeli hostages—alive or deceased—in Gaza.
The long-overdue return of Gvili’s remains closes one of the most tragic and traumatic chapters of the war for Israel, the Jewish diaspora, and the free world.
Footage from a surveillance camera in South Tehran on January 8, 2026, captures a young woman being viciously attacked with batons and knives by Basij members and plainclothes operatives.
The Basij is a volunteer paramilitary organization overseen by the Islamic Republic’s Revolutionary Guard, frequently deployed by the regime to crush protests, terrorize civilians, and impose ideological obedience.
