#Arizona #vlagov #walgov #brugov
BREAKING: Senators Elissa Slotkin and Tammy Baldwin have introduced the Protect the Polls Act to ensure ICE is unable to interfere with November's midterms elections. This needs to be passed immediately.
HOST: Can Ukrainians win this war?
STUBB: I say yes, and I think they already have.
HOST: They've started to turn the tide?
STUBB: Yeah, definitely. Because this boils down to the theory of war.
Big guy, Russia, attacking a small guy, Ukraine, trying to deny independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.
And then Ukraine, after four and a half years, still stands strong and has not allowed Russia to invade them. Then, by definition, they will have won.
Look at things from a Moscow perspective: in the past four years during the active war, they have advanced 60 kilometers. In World War II, they went from Moscow to Berlin, that's 1,400 kilometers.
You have to ask yourself, who has won, who has lost? I say Ukraine has won.
Russia’s gasoline crisis is deepening – quite justly – in response to Putin’s reluctance to end this war. We have put forward proposals on how to bring peace closer, and we have support not only among our partners around the world, but also within Putin’s own circle. They understand what is happening and that peace has no alternative. This sentiment in Russia will continue to grow.
Today, I signed a decree establishing a special command within the Armed Forces of Ukraine – a command for long-range, effectively global, impact on Russia over this war. This command must concentrate 100% of the available resources on degrading Russia’s warfighting potential even more. The commander in charge of this direction will be strong and certainly highly experienced.
Let's stop pretending the SAVE America Act is about "election integrity."
If that were the case, this administration wouldn't be firing members of the bipartisan Election Assistance Commission — the very people who help states run secure and fair elections.
It is an attempt to suppress votes. And with the midterms around the corner…the timing speaks for itself.
If you're defending billionaires, you don't understand how much a billion dollars really is.
We could house every homeless person on Earth, and the billionaires would still be billionaires.
A wealth tax isn't radical. Extreme wealth is.
If a president refuses to give FEMA money for disaster relief while people suffer because he did not win that state but gave it to sates that did vote for him. He should be removed and arrested and locked up.

President Zelenskyy:
Today I signed a decree to create a special command within the Armed Forces, a command with long-range, virtually global influence on Russia during this war.
This command must concentrate 100% of available resources in order to further significantly reduce Russia's war potential.
The commander in this direction will be strong and certainly the most experienced.
There is no longer a single Russian refinery that cannot be reached by Ukrainian weapons—this was Zelenskyy's reaction to new Ukrainian attacks on Russian facilities.
This week, our warriors achieved important results in imposing long-range sanctions against Russian facilities that fuel this war.
Ukrainian drones reached Siberia and struck the oil refinery in Omsk – nearly 2,500 kilometers from Ukraine. Now, no Russian oil refinery is beyond the reach of Ukrainian weapons.
Our responses to Russian strikes also targeted oil facilities in the Saratov, Rostov, Tver, Stavropol, and Krasnodar regions, as well as in Tatarstan and Bashkortostan. An airfield in the Voronezh region and a strategic enterprise in Tver were hit. Drones were also used against facilities in the Moscow, Leningrad, and Bryansk regions.
Our long-range sanctions plan against Russia is firmly on track. I thank all of the units involved for their accuracy!
The "spirit of Anchorage" has evaporated fast 👀
Jokes aside, a picture like this was definitely not on my 2026 bingo card, yet here we are. Putin clearly lost his Trump card.
I was pleased to meet with Chairman Emeritus @RepMcCaul today.
I thanked Chairman McCaul for his steadfast leadership, unwavering personal support for Ukraine, and for visiting the frontline, becoming the first member of the U.S. Congress to do so during the war.
We highly value the strong bipartisan and bicameral support for Ukraine in the U.S. Congress, particularly efforts to strengthen Ukraine's air defense and increase sanctions pressure on Russia. Every additional air defense system saves lives, and every step that raises the cost of aggression brings a lasting peace closer.
We followed up on the recent meeting between President @ZelenskyyUa and @POTUS Trump in Ankara and discussed further Ukraine-U.S. defense cooperation, with a particular focus on air defense and drones.
We also coordinated our next joint steps to strengthen Ukraine's defense capabilities, reinforce our shared security and increase pressure on Russia.
Good meeting with U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham @LindseyGrahamSC in Kyiv. This is already his 10th visit to our country, and we appreciate this support.
I'm grateful to Lindsey for recognizing our warriors. The stronger Ukraine is on the battlefield, the greater the chances that diplomacy will ultimately succeed. And right now, it is important that our long-range sanctions pressure on Russia be reinforced through new sanctions steps by our partners. Lindsey briefed me on the work underway in Congress on the relevant bill. We also discussed our urgent air defense needs to protect our people. During the NATO Summit in Ankara, President Trump and I reached political agreements on licensing the production of Patriots in Ukraine. It is now crucial to implement all of this at the team level.
I thank the United States, the President, and Congress for bipartisan and consistent support from both chambers.
The question of whether Ukraine can, through diplomatic or other efforts, prevent fuel supplies to Russia from neutral countries sounds like a historical joke. A country like Russia, whose economy has always been focused on exporting its own energy resources, is now scrambling to find fuel somewhere and somehow increase its ability to import fuel. So has Ukraine prevented this yet? Ukraine already has; we have already done this.
I think that if Yeltsin had known that 20-plus years later Russia, instead of exporting energy resources, would be importing them because it had asininely decided to unleash a war, Yeltsin would have chosen a different successor.
