Just received this update notification on my find x9 but I'm very much afraid of facing the ongoing issues from so many users like battery drain and heating with this. Please suggest should I wait for the next patch or can update it? @g4nt1u@Tech4Mob
Horrible experience with Oppo Find X9 (extreme overheating) and their service center in Pune. Don't buy Oppo X series unless you want to waste 60k+!!. 16 day old phone btw.
Extreme overheating after 4 minutes of casual camera use that led to 50% drop in battery in 4 hours (1/n)
@AbhaySi69274192@OPPOIndia@Gadgetsdata Then manually closed the phone since the screen was black, and restarted it. Restricted background activity of camera and other commonly used apps. Used Social media for 50 minutes in total within 4.5 hours. Battery declined from 9 am 100% to 52% at 1:45 pm ~.

Started using at 9 am~ > clicked one photo of face cream > phone got very hot, then did not click photos despite hitting shutter button on screen -> not able to go back -> screen went black (all of this happened in 30 second) (1/2)
@xagelovetech@ChaitanyaOnTech It is definitely a possibility that I have received a faulty piece, but it is even more concerning that Oppo is gaslighting its flagship customers in their servicing experience.
@Iam_Awaken_@OPPOIndia@Gadgetsdata I have the battery usage raw data files in my laptop if needed but I already submitted all my proof and everything to oppo bhai. I have formatted my phone so cannot send a SS of the same since it erased everything.
Is this how you treat your flagship phone users, Oppo? Leave high and dry? Gaslight them? The actual service centre people were very sweet, but the main oppo team up high were directing everything.

@Iam_Awaken_@OPPOIndia@Gadgetsdata Already showed the proof to oppo bro. They still declined it because they require direct proof heating such as a video with a laser thermometer or a SS of the battery temperature taken on a specialized battery temperature app like CPU -Z.

@Akshay_Patil_93@OPPOIndia@Gadgetsdata I was expecting poor low value but recently learnt that oppo themselves are offering just 43k for the proof version as resale value. This is evidence in itself that oppo themselves don't believe their prices are matched with actual value.

@Shevday@OPPOIndia@Gadgetsdata I had to sell my Oppo Find X9. Great phone, but it made me realize why spending flagship money on most Chinese brands doesn't make much sense in India.
The hardware is excellent, but the ecosystem isn't.
