A nice firing opened today.
Mostly water vessels for the Japanese Tea Ceremony (pictures to follow) but this gem of a Teabowl made me smile.

This piece is 40cm tall, hand built and glazed with local, wood ash & granite. Copper leaf is applied post firing, then treated to bring out a patina in autumn/sunset colours
