Hey @PayPal@AskPayPal, if you send me an email notifying me that someone has hacked my account, how am I supposed to change the password if you’re now telling me there is no account associated with said email address? 😡
Children dying while in the custody of our government is atrocious. What’s happening in Sudan is atrocious. Your “inedible” oatmeal that’s “not hot enough” is not an atrocity, lady. And no, I will not tell corporate that they need to “do something about it”. #checkyourprivelege
"White Rabbit" by Jefferson Airplane is one of my all-time favorite songs. It has a simple bolero style to it but I love Grace Slick's voice. #bkbeatles
"All You Need Is Love" is comforting with it's simplistic idea that all you need is love and to be yourself, nothing else is really that important. #bkbeatles
Of course "Penny Lane" is Paul's counterpart to John's "Strawberry Fields". It's a more upbeat representation of his nostalgia for their hometown. #bkbeatles
"Strawberry Fields" is one of my favorite Beatles songs. I know John is describing a place from is childhood where he felt comfortable and safe and the song definitely gives it that vibe. It is a place where John can retreat into his own imagination. #bkbeatles
The verse of "I'm Only Sleeping" has that signature John Lennon writing technique, staying on and around the same note. The backwards guitar at the end is pretty cool. #bkbeatles
"Eleanor Rigby" is another song that's just kind of depressing. But I never really realized that none of the Beatles play any instruments, it's all only the string quartet. #bkbeatles
"In My Life" always makes me feel so nostalgic and kind of sad. But ultimately it's about being able to move on and grow up without losing that connection to your past, which is comforting. #bkbeatles
#bkbeatles Response to "You've Got To Hide Your Love Away" - I love this song. It's very clearly influenced by the sound of Bob Dylan and you kind of hear how John's lyrics start to change and become more introspective.
#bkbeatles Response to "Please Mister Postman" - This actually sounds like something that the Beatles could have possibly written themselves, not just an obvious cover (except for maybe the fade out at the end).
