Pope built his team around having veterans who had been through the wars….Oweh, Aberdeen, Mo D and Garrison
And down the stretch and OT it really paid off
What a win
Wow BBN must tip the hat to OTEGA OWEH (35 pts 8 reb 7 assists)”- would not let @KentuckyMBB lose as they SURVIVE 89- 84 in ot W vs @SantaClaraHoops as he was MR CUTCH - literally saved Cats from packing bags & saying “Wait till next year” - @CoachMarkPope would have faced lots of heat .
Pierre Rondo Jr. just Played in his first State Tourney..
Hes 13 years old, had to leave middle school early to Play in the Kentucky State Tourney.. Something no other Rondo has done before..
He’s playing against 19 year old hold back seniors and all that..
Vs Lyon County..
25 PTS
7 AST
4 REBS
He is the best 8th Grader in KY history and the best Player in the state of Kentucky. This is crazy..
On a tough day for Malachi Moreno, Brandon Garrison is stepping up in a big way for Kentucky.
Something about this time zone brings out the best version of BG.
The security lines at the Atlanta airport this morning were by far the worst I have ever seen. Yet amidst all the chaos and stress, I saw a lot of patience, grace and kindness extended not only between fellow passengers but especially towards the TSA workers whom everyone knew were not getting paid to be there. It was an uplifting reminder that even when we are being inconvenienced, we can still be kind to each other. I appreciate the TSA workers who were there who helped us get through, and yes, I made my flight.
If you're traveling by air I strongly recommend finding out how much your airport is impacted and then getting there extra early anyway. Now let's have a great day of hoops!
