➡️ Randomized start date: Every Destination address is assigned a random first day between December 10, 2025, and early March 2026 (the first 90-day window).

➡️ Quarterly unlocks: After the specific start date is assigned, the remaining three installments unlock every 90 days.

➡️ Thawing countdown: There will be a countdown in the Redemption portal showing how many days you have left until your next claim

With today’s launch of NIGHT as a Cardano Native Asset (CNA), we’re officially kicking off the countdown to redemptions for the more than 4.5B tokens claimed during the Glacier Drop and Scavenger Mine phases.

This marks the first step in bringing NIGHT to the community as we continue progressing toward a fully decentralized Midnight mainnet.

Redemption windows will open in phases (“thaws”). The redemption portal will launch shortly beforehand to allow people to preview their allocations and thawing schedules ahead of time.

For those of you are are curious.... In order to prevent anyone from being able to compromise the system, every hour, we generate a new "seed" for the challenges based on either a hash of the pre-registrations (the first puzzle) or a hash of the solutions submitted in the previous hour.

I am utterly amazed at the level of participation in the pre-registration period! It took us a couple of minutes longer than we expected to generate the entropy need for a secure launch based on the volume of registrations but we are live now and seeing great participation! We will keep our eyes on it to ensure that things keep running smoothly!
