Pritzker wants the credit every time a business opens in Illinois and an excuse every time one closes.
2,500 Illinois workers just lost their jobs at Tyson.
It's his fault.
Lt. Governor Stratton and I couldn't see this more differently.
JB Pritzker and Lt. Governor Stratton want MORE government involvement in business. And the more control government has, the more power politicians have to pick the winners and losers.
I want ALL Illinois businesses to have a better shot. Less government = More opportunity. It really doesn't need to be more complicated than that

JB Pritzker can’t weasel his way out of this one.
He appointed every voting member of the Tollway Board. They unanimously approved the largest passenger toll hike in Illinois history, followed by automatic hikes every two years.
His board. His toll hike.
State Representative Patrick Sheehan is calling for reforms to Illinois’ electronic monitoring and pretrial release system after a man accused of carrying eight Molotov cocktails in Mokena was released on an ankle monitor.
Sheehan is co-sponsoring several bills aimed at strengthening the system:
✅ HB 1482 would expand the offenses eligible for pretrial detention.
✅ HB 4125 removes 2-days of free movement for those on electronic monitoring.
✅ HB 4186 would require immediate notification to law enforcement and prosecutors when someone violates conditions of their electronic monitoring.
✅ HB 5757 would require pretrial release to be revoked when a person commits a felony while on electronic monitoring.

Lt Governor Stratton, here's the problem with asking Illinois for a promotion... We already know what your policies cost us.
You've had nearly eight years alongside JB Pritzker. You don't get to separate yourself from the decisions when Illinoisans are stuck paying for the results. And now you want to take those ideas to Washington?
That's a pretty tough sales pitch. Take a look at our latest ad.
Pritzker stole $1,000,000,000 from road funds for a Chicago transit bailout and now drivers are stuck with a massive 57% toll hike and automatic rate increases forever.
Vote. Him. Out.
When Pritzker took office the Illinois budget was $38.5B & his first budget was $40.1B.
The current budget is $55.1B & next year it will be $55.9B, that’s a 39% increase.
I don’t know what Pritzker is running his mouth about “the difference between Democrats & Republicans”, if you live in Illinois the Republicans are nowhere to be found so they can’t possibly be stealing your money.
If you believe that the 39% increase in the state budget hasn’t increased your cost of living, you have major brain damage.
Buc-ee’s is basically saying Illinois politics make them think twice about coming here.
Businesses should be fighting to get INTO Illinois, not looking for reasons to stay out.
This should embarrass JB Pritzker.
Today, we got word from @fox32news that @JulianaStratton turned down their debate. So far that she’s refused to appear in debates or forums with:
FOX-32
CBS Chicago
LWV Peoria
IL Farm Bureau
IL Manufacturing Association
Technology and Manufacturing Association
What’s she so worried about?
Illinois will hunt down a small business owner over a minor tax discrepancy, but lets its political leaders get away with hiding millions with a literal stroke of a pen.
Federal rules forced Donald Trump to file a 927-page financial disclosure detailing exact asset ranges and liabilities (and there is nothing wrong with this), but it is odd that @GovPritzker can get away with merely providing a 7-page list of vague investment names.
But it gets worse:
State lawmakers are legally allowed to simply write "None" on their forms and move on.
There is one set of rules for Springfield, and another for everyone else.

Property taxes skyrocketing. Utility bills doubling. Now a massive new toll hike hitting working families.
Every time JB Pritzker opens his mouth, your cost of living goes up.
JB Pritzker temporarily ripped the toilets out of his house to save $300,000 in property taxes that would have funded local schools. This is a true fact you can look it up.
Christian Mitchell gets paid by Deliver Strategies.
Deliver Strategies gets bankrolled by JB Pritzker’s campaign.
Six figures flowing through the same network of Pritzker insiders.
This sure looks like pay-to-play.
