6. Thinkers
We need out of the box thinkers who can brainstorm and bring ideas to life. They help the storytellers to conceptualize, developers with ideas on mechanics and character behaviour. They help the sound engineers when they get stuck on music selection. #ggjzim
Some may think that you need to be a nerd to take part in making games, but this isn't true. There's a place for everyone in the game development process. Game Jam's are a great way to bring all critical people to build a game. Here is a thread of who can take part in a game jam
5. Testers
These are a critical part of the game development process as they make sure we are doing the right thing. Testers are enthusiasts who play the game to test movements, sounds and general appearance of the game. Technical expertise isn't required to sign up for #ggjzim
Global Game Jam Africa is growing! Game developers and enthusiasts from across the continent are gathering to create new games and memories. Shout out to the South Africa and Ugandan teams for the awesome work they are doing in their countries
