After a year of waiting, my most anticipated Nintendo Switch 2 Edition is finally here with Xenoblade Chronicles 2 - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition. But now that its here... was it worth the long wait?

Flarlics are good idea, middling execution. Like you said, if they also expanded the type limit alongside the number counts, it couldve made for a decent progression system but eh.
Also Yeah the story doesnt really bother me, I think of it as a timeline split scenario. Seeing a continuation of Pikmin 1's bad ending is interesting.
Pikmin 4 discourse is so interesting. While I still think its a great game, it has a plethora of strange design decisions (three-type limit, Oatchi being overtuned which makes even 4 easier than 3, and auto lock-on at launch) that just holds it back from my fav.
But I can understand why 4's design choices would turn some longtime fans off. Ultimately, we're all fans at the end of the day and just want the best for this franchise.
I hope whenever they get to 5, the difficulty is brought back up to the GameCube games. Not the biggest fan of how easy 3 & 4 are compared to 1 & 2. I heard 4 got a hard mode in a previous update so I should try that sometime
@zee_noblade Oh yeah, I wouldnt be suprised if they're preparing to do something about it. Crazy how we went from "Switch 2 wont be cracked for a decade" to Switch 2 emulators popping up in a week because of Claude ๐
man, albedo from xenosaga has SUCH a good voice actor! it's such a shame he doesn't have many roles... for example, i could see him voicing... a gorilla? he could be super smart and be from the moon, with a short range toggle tesla cannon, and a dome shield to counter aoe slop,
