Some staff members and postgraduate students volunteered at the Johannesburg Wildlife Veterinary Hospital to assist them for #Mandeladay. They spent the day assisting with various tasks which included #tortoise health checks, and painting and cleaning the tortoise houses.
Today we look at some titles of presentations from last week from our staff and students at the #International#Congress of #Zoology 2021 with a very interesting plenary by @JaneGoodallInst and Prof Camille Parmesan facilitated by Prof van Dyk and @bettinevv, respectively.
The mRNA vaccines (Pfizer and Moderna) are kind of brilliant at a science level. I’ve had a few people in my real non-Twitter life ask me to explain how it works so I’m going to try my best here in this thread while I’m waiting for a patient to show.
