Absolutely thrilled to have played a role in the organization of #ucar#remotesensing initiative workshop, 2023! It was my honor to also present some of the remote sensing applied projects at @NCAR_RAL! @ncargis @NCAR_ACOM@NCAR_Science#workshop@rkumar_ncar
Excited to share our latest study: "Assessing the Impact of Conservation Practices on Post-Wildfire Recovery of Evergreen and Conifer Forests Using Remote Sensing Data"

(2/2) While my main focus remains on atmospheric remote sensing, this work reinforced my interest in cost-efficient monitoring frameworks and the broader role of Earth observation in environmental monitoring and prioritizing management practices.
(1/2) The idea was ignited during my postdoc, and I’m excited to share it with the community while looking forward to expanding on it in the future. This experience broadened my perspective on many ecological concepts.
Excited to share our recent work at #AMS2025. Enhanced Air Quality Forecast System Through Chemical Data Assimilation: A Co-Design Effort with Local Stakeholders in E&S Africa.

Hope to see you there! #AtmosphericSci
Qeshm Dayrestan International Airport in Iran reported a heat index of 178°F (81°C) today.
This would tie the record for highest heat index ever recorded, while the reported dew point of 97°F (36°C) would be a new world record.
These are intolerable conditions for human life.
This toggle depicts recently observed and model forecast of vertically integrated and near surface #smoke from Canadian wildfires. #AirQuality will be a concern for millions. https://t.co/MPPMT5rqnh
We remember Virginia Norwood ❤️ Happy Mother's Day. She designed the instrument that flew on Landsat 1 in 1972; her work revolutionized Earth observing remote sensing science, earning her the moniker "Mother of Landsat." Learn about Norwood's life here: https://t.co/ghgnyQmMHV
