whites are settlers and foreigners to Africa. They have implemented colonialism and they don’t care to uplift it. Africa ought to fight for its independence.
The state needs a distribution bank of its own, own shops & garages, medical facilities, creative centers to be funded and owned by the state. Thats what will grow the economy and tackle unemployment. Stop this thing of mixed economy and take responsibility. China did that !
The Lending public hearing shows that the state doesn’t own the economy. Are we saying the state cannot develop selling shops, cannot take over clothing industry, cannot produce food, tools and sell to people? How will it increase salaries with tax revenue? GDP is not tax only!
We will not grow the economy by allowing private sector to takeover or by funding the private sector. It’s Africa of disadvantaged people, under economic oppression system. It’s inequality you are sponsoring which will result into crime. Capacitate the state to generate revenue.
Parliamentarians are doing nothing special. Our AR got swallowed by the oppressive system. We need to redraft the constitution, capacitate the state to own the economy and reform the economic system. Stop exporting minerals, restructure education, fund agriculture, a dip to rise
micro lenders committee got schooled. The state does not own the economy and the mix economy shows state failure. The root cause of borrowing is, people are not paid enough. To pay enough you need more revenue collection. Your revenue is tax, is that enough? Where is State GDP?
@ngurare why? What did the government contribute to this mall? Is that economic independence? When whites get enough they will close that mall any time, they will ship money out of the country soon. Is the economy in our hands? Can the government not do that mall and employ us?
Happy Africa Day! 🌍
Today we celebrate the heartbeat of the continent; its people, its strength, its unity, and its boundless potential. Africa Day is a reminder of the shared dream that has carried our people through struggle and triumph alike.
@Shipululo The government shares struggles of finance and getting loans in response, while our money is building a lot of GIPF rental buildings. This should have been electrification of rural areas and plantations as well as factories to industrialize the economy!
People of Namibia 🇳🇦
Our country has close to 80 Parastatals (State Owned Entities) that COLLECTIVELY employ more than 20 000 employees. The TOTAL ASSET value is estimated to be at N$ 120 Billion. The LIABILITIES are at N$ 60 billion while the NET ASSET VALUE is also estimated at N$ 60 billion. But here is an EMBARRASSING TRUTH and REALITY. For 36 years of FLAG INDEPENDENCE, the Pension for all these 80 Parastatals and more than 20 000 employees are held by/with FOREIGN PENSION Funds and Companies. THIS money is used to Sponsor and Develop other countries and the economies of the select few. REMEMBER that the total Value of the Pension Industry is at N$ 300 Billion of which N$ 185 Billion is GIPF. We need to CORRECT this 36 Years FAILURE. We will MEET, ENGAGE, ADVISE and CONVINCE the Government to establish PUBLIC ENTITIES PENSION FUND (PEPEF). All 80 Parastatals WILL MOVE their Pension to this fund, PEPEF. As a Country, the plan is to now have another vehicle, like GIPF, that can fund Our country’s economic development agenda. We should move from SLOGANS to REAL Interventions, RADICAL INTERVENTIONS for the development of our Country and its People. There are some GOOD PEOPLE in Government who will LISTEN and I know we can do it TOGETHER. AFRICA is our BEGINNING and AFRICA is our END! ❤️🙌🏿💪🏿
Parliament of Namibia wants black Africans to look like Europeans. I wish there was a dignified Himba man in parliament that will show up in his cultural attire. We cannot be prioritizing European looks over our dignity. @Shipululo these rules are not working for us.
@Shipululo For as long rights of our people is under depression with colonial generic institutions, One day we will take a revolution to the streets to liberate ourselves. will set a tone for a new constitution that speaks to grouping our customs in reshaping the socioeconomic structure
NA assembly,Lothar Von Trotha declared killing of Nama people. In remembrance of that, a moment of silence is done, how do you remember in silence? This moment of silence is a colonial syndrome to silence the wrong done. Rather launch educational museums or platforms @Shipululo
@toys_ndjebela We rather amend our customs to suitably match the status quo. We had it before and it worked. Actually the right time to abolish/recreate the constitution and laws deduced from colonialists influenced democracy, in dignifying customs of all traditions grouped in these borders.
@toys_ndjebela the fact that we agreed to host election with different parties did not represent independence. It was an acceptance of democracy, a colonial system that colonizers used to oppress. Is it not time to abolish the constitution and group custom as a base of our unity
@Shipululo Will we be able to liberate and claim dignity through systems and institutions inherited from depressing colonizers. By now we should have been drafting our own constitution that combines customs of different cultures as a basis of our unity. Is that not AR Agenda?
You want to study for masters and PHD to become a CEO of someone’s company, get payed that salary but you don’t want to start a business to be the CEO and earn a fortune.😭😂.Wasting time and resources due to laziness 💭.
Namibia the struggle chose peace over dignity. But we don’t blame the parents, ours is a reminder to continue the struggle of attaining our dignity. Social structure and values gone, economic ownership gone, cultural values gone, colonial governance system and laws still prevail
Namibians stop saying that we are Independent if
1. Borders still stand
2.Colonial governance system still stands
3.Our laws still remain European
4.We still depend on colonizers
5.Colonizers still control us
6.we do not own the economy
7. We depressed our culture

@NdapunikwaNang2@Shipululo Very true, but @Shipululo i want AR to focus on transforming the system and restructure it towards state self dependence. Capacitating the state to run means of production, earn direct revenue instead of tax, Limit exporting jobs to
Private sector for state to industrialize
