🚨 Hello Community!!! 🚨

Let's get a consensus 🏛️

Should the Tangle Treasury use its $SMR to vote 'Abstain'? The current SMR votes are 99% 'Yes'?

We will keep this vote open until Midnight tonight CET Time.

*Note: This poll will be open through the voting period. If at any time it is clear the community votes against it, we will remove the tokens.

A few things:
1⃣ The consensus is clear in favor of the Treasury.
2⃣ Dom always used TEA tokens to meet Quorum in the past; however, he just happens to be away this time and can't vote.
3⃣ With EVM, it is clear that the active voting community has tokens in the DEFI LPs, which deters voting.
4⃣ This 5% was not only established before an EVM, but after the last vote, the Governance group planned to lower the quorum percentage. However, for some reason, the Thursday meeting all of a sudden where shut down.
5⃣ These tokens are only to vote for 'Abstain', not to vote for 'Yes' or 'No'.

We could also vote No and it wouldn't change anything

@cheerful_nicole @TangleTreasury For IOTA 2.0, we might also choose a different metric, like % of delegated funds (of course not just 5% then). Doesn't make too much sense to count tokens that are rotting in some cold wallet.

But thats something the community has to decide
