"I wasn’t against communism, but i can’t say i was for it either. At first, i viewed it suspiciously, as some kind of white man’s concoction, until i read works by African revolutionaries and studied the African liberation movements. Revolutionaries in Africa understood that the question of African liberation was not just a question of race, that even if they managed to get rid of the white colonialists, if they didn’t rid themselves of the capitalistic economic structure, the white colonialists would simply be replaced by Black neocolonialists. There was not a single liberation movement in Africa that was not fighting for socialism.

Israel Clarifies Gaza Policy: Annexation, Population Transfer, and Blocking Aid

Israel’s Defense Minister Israel Katz outlined a sweeping and aggressive military and political strategy for Gaza in a new Twitter/X post, openly detailing measures that violate international law.

➤ Katz said Israel is stopping humanitarian aid, claiming it “undermines Hamas’ control over the population,” adding that Israel intends to replace existing aid channels with new ones controlled by “civil society in the future.”

➤ Israel is “evacuating hundreds of thousands” of Palestinian civilians, using “overwhelming force from air, land, and sea” to “soften the terrain” for ground troops.

➤ Katz confirmed that Israel is annexing seized areas in Gaza, stating explicitly, “Unlike in the past, the IDF is not vacating areas that have been cleared and seized.” “The IDF will remain in the security zones as a buffer between the enemy and the communities in any temporary or permanent situation in Gaza - as in Lebanon and Syria,” he said. Katz added “tens of percent” of Gaza has already been added to these so-called “security zones.”

➤ The Defense Minister also openly stated Israel is pushing a plan for the “voluntary relocation” of Gaza’s residents- forced population transfer.

➤ Katz added that if Hamas rejects Israel’s terms, military operations will expand further, emphasizing Israel’s intent to annex more Palestinian territory, disarm Hamas and demilitarize Gaza.

➤ Katz boasted about pressure on Hamas from civil society and also noted that for the first time, Egypt has made the disarmament of Hamas and the demilitarization of Gaza a condition for a comprehensive deal and end to the war.

Rights groups have widely condemned such measures as collective punishment, forced displacement, and annexation— all violations of international humanitarian law.
