@spragels@palaknightprime Thank you. I understood the reason of your frustration.
I don't agree with your analysis, but I don't care.
Both we love Unite and want what's the best for unite community in the world.
My English listening skills aren’t great, but I’m a big fan of the English casters too.
@spragels@palaknightprime Causality is reverse. Resources were given to Japan because it was a market likely to succeed. Resources aren't given to a weak MOBA market. This applies to business in general.
Since Japan succeeded to some extent, I also think they should focus more on other regions next.
@spragels@palaknightprime I agree with the former point. But it’s only natural that regions with smaller markets receive fewer resources.
As for the latter, I can’t really agree. Sorry, but it comes across more as a bias shaped by frustration over your region’s situation than an objective assessment.
@spragels@palaknightprime It seems I can't understand your point.
I've never seen a game update that only pleases Japan — complaints exist there too. But when it comes to Unite events (not updates), it's true that many have been focused on the Japanese market.
@spragels@palaknightprime You're right that Japan is a very specific case. But the difference isn't the "content of the game" — it's the "market." In other words, the more reasonable explanation for the decline in the West is the market itself, not the game's updates.
@palaknightprime@spragels I agree as well. Even in Japan, plenty of people are unhappy with the game's updates, yet the viewership numbers are strong. So the claim that game updates have a huge impact on viewership is really just a personal feeling, not a fact.
