I was born in 82. My exposure to things like “gay” came in the form of stereotypes and effeminate men in comedy. The way fat people are jokes in modern comedy. Charles Nelson Reilly was big for me because i watched a lot of game shows

I grew up in a town of under 250 people in bumfuck middle of nowhere Nebraska with very little positive queer representation for half my life using slurs and being a prick and yet i learned how not to be hateful and found myself in the process.
