@AdventSoftworks@KaidoGenkai Any news about Linear S? I'm really looking forward to it, but there's been no news about it for nearly a year now. I hope it hasn't been canceled.
I tip my samurai helmet to Crunchyroll. I've see AI get subtitles wrong FAR too often. You need an actual person to know what's being said and produce accurate subs. And for dubs? Forget about it. AI doesn't come close to real voice actors.
Crunchyroll CEO Rahul Purini says the company will respect creators' decisions on whether to use AI in their work, but says Crunchyroll itself will not use AI for subs or dubs
"We want to make sure creators get to tell the stories the way they want to tell them, whatever technology they want to use, but it is the creator intent.
They get to tell the story, and we want to be authentic to their storytelling, and so that’s why we’re not using AI in our creative process – whether it’s subtitling or dubbing."
@GameStalgiaX As much as I love Dreamcast and OG Xbox, I'd probably pick the PS2 just for the sheer number of bangers and the huge volume of games they put out. None of these are bad choices though.
@alsejasz@Helldivers_NOW Unless you're playing with children who start teamkilling because you killed them to get your stuff back. I've seen that plenty. If they wanna pvp, they should go play Call of Duty. Helldivers is a team game. Treat your teammates with respect and they'll have your back.
@GrumpingJimmy@Helldivers_NOW I wish everyone was that polite. We're all on the same team here. It doesn't help to antagonize your teammates by stealing their stuff and leaving them helpless.
@3sammycasino99@Helldivers_NOW Agreed. It's one thing if you're in a tight spot and need to borrow it. But if teammate asks you to drop it and you ignore them (or worse, give them back talk), they are allowed to take it back by any means necessary. It's open season on looters who keep their stolen goods.
